As everyone is well aware issue 14 (Income tax issue) failed by a wide margin. Currently staff is working through a version of the budget to present to council. Once that is presented we’ll have more information about where we will be making the initial cuts.

Last night at Finance Committee meeting council decided to set a work session for Dec 10th to talk about next steps for another issue or not and how to proceed.
The budget for 2009 has been moved to council floor so we can now work to figure out next steps for 2010 and beyond.
